Ali Bati is the most internationally-awarded art director in Turkey. He has won over 100 national and international awards, including awards from Cannes Lions, the New York Festivals, the Epica Awards, Eurobest, Golden Drum and the Crystal Apple Awards (Turkey's most prestigious award for advertising creativity). As well as his success in the creative field, his work has been recognised for its effectiveness with several Effie Awards.

During his first year in advertising, he brought Turkey its first success at Cannes Lions. He is also the youngest creative in Turkey to be awarded at Cannes Lions. In 2007, he was awarded Art Director Of The Year in Turkey by GMK (the Turkish Society Of Graphic Design). In 2010, he was listed as the number one art director in the world, according to Luerzer's Archive rankings and in the same year became the first Turkish creative to make the cover.

In 2009, he contributed to DDB&Co's third place in the Agency of the Year ranking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, winning two Lions. This helped lead to Turkish advertising gaining international recognition. In 2010 he was awarded two Lions, which helped the agency come in fourth in the Agency of the Year listing. He also contributed to DDB&Co's achievement of Agency of the Year at the 17th Golden Drum Advertising Festival, winning three awards, including Turkey's first Grand Prix.

Ali studied Graphic Design, graduating as the highest- ranked student at Marmara University in Istanbul, where is also currently doing his doctorate.
